Announcing the groups and tournament format for the Intel Challenge Katowice

The Intel Challenge Katowice returns for its second iteration of the women’s CS:GO tournament held in Katowice during the Intel Extreme Masters World Championship, where eight top teams from around the world will battle it out for the coveted trophy and their share of a US$30,000 prize pool.

The groups

The teams have been divided into two groups of four, which are as follows:

Group A
• WRTP
• Team Karma
• Millenium (formerly doemouth)
• Santos.Dexterity

Group B
• CLG Red
• Team Acer
• EXERTUS
• Elysium

The format

Group stage

The group stage, taking place on March the 5th, will feature round robin play (best of one for each round). The top two teams from each group will secure a slot in the semifinals. The matches will be livestreamed here from 12:00 CET.

Playoffs

The playoffs will take place on March the 6th on Expo stage B beginning at 12:00 CET. All of the matches, both the semifinals and grand final, will be a best of three and livestreamed on our CS:GO Twitch channel.
