The qualifying rounds of the Dota 2 tournament of Brasil Game Cup (BGC), which will distribute BRL 60 thousand in prizes, have already started and this Saturday (4/16) there will be another series of matches towards the finals, to be held at Brasil Game Show (BGS) 2016, which takes place from September 1 to 5 at São Paulo Expo/SP. Matches will be played online and from the quarterfinals, which will begin on April 30, the competition will be broadcasted live, with the shoutcasters Diego “Hads” Coutinho and Guilherme “PDS” Pullin, from NoMad team, directly from BGS studio. NoMad returns to the tournament live broadcasting at the BGS stage, which will feature a round table to discuss the matches.
Among the 32 teams that will play this Saturday (16) are some participants of the two previous editions of the tournament: the twice-champion paiN Gaming and the finalist in 2015, TShow. The winning team in the grand finals of Dota 2, on September 5, at BGS, will have its name engraved on the Ralph Baer Trophy and will take the prize of BRL 30 thousand. The second finalist will receive BRL 10 thousand. Each qualifying round also distributes BRL 10 thousand among the top three finalists.
In addition to Dota 2, BGC will also feature other tournaments, which will be announced soon.
