The 12 North American Teams from the Call of Duty World League (CWL), Presented by Playstation®4 Pro Division, and 96 Amateur Teams Will Compete in Orlando For a $100,000 Prize Pool and a Chance to earn CWL Pro Points on August 5-7
We are excited to announce that Major League Gaming (MLG), in collaboration with the Call of Duty® World League, Presented by PlayStation®4, will be hosting the Call of Duty® MLG Orlando Open. Held at The Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Studios Orlando on August 5-7, the event will feature up to 96 amateur teams and 12 North American CWL teams competing head-to-head in Call of Duty®: Black Ops III on PlayStation®4 for a $100,000 Prize Pool and more than 2,500 CWL Pro Points. As part of the Call of Duty MLG Orlando Open, players can earn CWL Pro Points as a chance to qualify for the highly-anticipated Call of Duty Championship, Presented by PlayStation®4, which will take place later this year.
In addition to hosting all of the North American Pro Division teams from Stage 2 of the CWL, this event will offer an opportunity for 96 amateur teams to compete. The tournament will feature a Double Elimination Open Bracket, Pool Play, and a Double Elimination Championship Bracket (full format information, below).
For those hoping to compete, Team Passes will go on sale Friday, June 3 at 5:00 p.m. EDT for $299. Competitors must be 18 years of age or older.

FORMAT:
The 96 teams will start in the Double Elimination Open Bracket. The final four teams will advance into Pool Play. CWL Pro Points will determine the 12 Teams that will start in Pool Play, where they will be separated into four separate pools. All Pool Play teams will play one match against each of the other teams in their pool and the final Pool Play standings will determine each team’s placement in the Double Elimination Championship Bracket.
