ESL to host the Heroes of the Storm North America Fall Regional events

Just last week, Tempest hoisted the trophy at the Heroes of the Storm Summer Global Championship in Jönköping, Sweden after one of the most thrilling matches in Heroes history, and the competition is already gearing up for teams around the world to snag their title. ESL will be hosting the two North American Fall season events for the 2016 Heroes of the Storm Global Circuit.

FALL REGIONAL #1

Given their performance in the Summer Season, the top two North American teams, Naventic and Gale Force eSports who represented North America in the 2016 Summer Championship, will automatically qualify for the first Fall Regional, but must keep four out of five players from their roster to hold their spot. This means that both teams can’t make any more roster changes after the departure of Stafford “McIntyre” McIntyre from Naventic and Manuel “Fury” Medina from Gale Force eSports if they wish to retain their invite.

The remaining six spots will be filled two at a time via open qualifiers that will begin on Sunday, July 10. The first North America Fall Regional will be a three-day event from August 5-7 held in front of a live studio audience at the ESL Studios in Burbank, California. See the schedule below for more information. Ticketing details to come at a later date.
• July 10: Open Qualifier 1
• July 17: Open Qualifier 2
• July 24: Open Qualifier 3
• August 5-7: Fall Regional #1
