FACEIT QuakeWorld Tournament at D.I.C.E. 2017

FACEIT, the leading competitive gaming platform, is bringing the FACEIT QuakeWorld Tournament to D.I.C.E. for the second year running. This year’s tournament will follow in the inaugural tournament’s format, pitting 16 of the gaming industry’s most influential developers and executives against each other in a 1v1 Quake tournament. FACEIT QuakeWorld will kickoff at D.I.C.E. 2017 on the mainstage with the opening rounds starting Wednesday, February 22, with the quarterfinals, semifinals and grand final the following day. The 2017 D.I.C.E. Summit conference takes place Feb. 21-23, 2017 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

This year’s tournament will bring together familiar faces from last year’s tournament, including Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford, Insomniac Games’ Ted Price and Sparkypants’ Sean Dunn along with newcomers like Blizzard Entertainment’s Jeffrey Kaplan and id Software’s Tim Willits.
