New Team ‘Laser Kittenz’ Joins Overwatch

Former teammates have reunited along with new members to form ‘Laser Kittenz’. The newest organization to enter the Overwatch scene ahead of the impending Overwatch League.

Former Misfits general manager Ali “Alicus” Saba will be heading up the team as owner and CEO. The lineup features former Reunited members Finley “kyb” Adisi, and Sergi “Winghaven” Torras Aragones. Alongside Luis “Greyy” Perestrelo, Carl “crems” Aspehult, Herman “Nesh” Kobrin, and Nikolaj “Zaprey” Ian Moyes. Zaprey was formerly a member of Misfits, where he worked with CEO Alicus.

In a statement given to ESPN, the announced that they had already begun talking to investors regarding the Overwatch League, which is yet to announce any real details. However some reports have suggested that league spots could be selling for upwards of $30 million dollars.

“I’m really happy to compete and be on a solid team again” Winghaven said in a statement to ESPN, “”Looking forward to the Overwatch Pit in the next days, where we’re gonna showcase our lineup and we’ll do our best, even though we didn’t have much time to play together with the roster.”

The team will their debut in the European PIT Championship and features the likes of Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Dignitas, and Misfits. Though their primary concern seems to be aimed towards the future and the Overwatch League, a good starting result would certainly be ideal to potentially attract more investors.
