ESL’s 24/7 esportsTV channel is almost here via PlayStation Vue

By ESL Gaming

We are pleased to announce esportsTV will launch soon on the pioneering Internet-based live TV service; PlayStation Vue. Later in April, U.S. residents will gain access to the very first linear channel dedicated solely to esports through PlayStation Vue. The 24/7 esports content will hit screens just in time for IEM Sydney, from the 4th of May.

Steven Roberts, Executive Chairman, ESL commented about the expansion for esportsTV:

“EsportsTV is the perfect complement to the PlayStation Vue offering and represents just another step for esports as a form of mainstream entertainment. ESL is in a unique position to significantly expand the reach and impact of premium esports content and we are thrilled to bring eSportsTV to the U.S. market.”

ESL launched esportsTV in Europe in May 2016 to bring the most amazing esports experience to fans globally. The channel’s 24/7 content represents ESL’s ongoing commitment to increasing accessibility for the rapidly growing esports community on a global scale. After launching in Europe, esportsTV grew to reach over 5 million households.

EsportsTV will be part of PlayStation Vue’s Elite plan and will be available to TV audiences all over the USA. PlayStation Vue is accessible through PlayStation 4, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PC/Mac, mobile devices and more.
