Announcing the players, broadcast team, format and schedule for StarCraft II at Intel Extreme Masters Taipei!

Intel Extreme Masters Taipei kicks off later this week and will feature a StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void invitational. Eight players from around the world will battle it out for their share of the US$25,000 prize pool. Today, we are happy to announce the players, broadcast team and format of the upcoming tournament.

The players

A stacked lineup of eight top players will compete in the tournament, including reigning world champion, sOs, and the leader of the WCS Global Standings, herO. The full player list is as follows:

•ByuN

The format

The tournament will be an eight-player single elimination bracket. The quarter- and semifinals will be best of five matchups, while the grand final will be a best of seven.

The broadcast team

We have assembled a great broadcast team who will be bringing you all the action:

Monday, February 1st (remote studio broadcast)

Tuesday, February 2nd (live from Taipei Game Show)
•11:00 to 12:30 – semifinal one
•12:30 to 14:00 – semifinal two
•14:00 to 16:30 – grand final
