Over the past several weeks more than 100 teams have battled their way across the Nexus in one of the four Spring Qualifiers in North America. The top two teams from each of those competitions were separated into pools, and then randomly drawn from those pools into two groups so that teams from the same qualifier would not be in the same group.
Teams from Group A and Group B will fly out to Los Angeles, California next week to meet and compete at the ESL Heroes of the Storm Spring Regional Los Angeles. They will be fighting for a share of $100,000, and more importantly the top two teams will head to Seoul, South Korea for the Heroes of the Storm Spring Global Championship and a whopping $500,000 prize pool.
