See the best German CS:GO and StarCraft II players in action!

Starting next Monday the 7th of March, the ESL Meisterschaft – ESL’s German national championship – kicks off, and will for the best German CS:GO, League of Legends, StarCraft II and FIFA 16 players. Starting once more at the open cup stage, participants will fight their way through a group stage to reach the finals at Landschaftspark Duisburg, which was already the location for the first open air finals last spring.

ESL’s very own broadcast crew will get even more involved with the ESL Meisterschaft, covering both CS:GO and StarCraft II on a regular basis from the cups onwards. While StarCraft II will be taken over by James “Kaelaris” Carrol, Shaun “Apollo” Clark and Yoan “ToD” Merlo from next Tuesday the 8th of March, CS:GO will see a mixture of familiar faces you know from ESL CS:GO Pro League and other tournaments. Starting Monday the 14th of March, Alex “Machine” Richardson, Lauren “Pansy” Scott, Leigh “Deman” Smith, Joe Miller as well as Mitch “Uber” Leslie will be bringing you the German CS:GO cups and the further stages of competition.

James “Kaelaris” Carrol said of the new season of ESL Meisterschaft in StarCraft II:

“The ESL Meisterschaft is about to kick off once again, where one of the strongest countries in the world compete for the title of Germany’s finest StarCraft player. As always, Germany has one of the deepest talent bases in all of StarCraft II when it comes to national competition, and this season is set to be no different.

With old veterans like GoOdy returning to fight against new-age stars like Marine and ShoWTimE, the competition here in Legacy of the Void is fierce. The new iteration of the game has heightened everyone’s drive in the scene to be at the top, and with returning Meisterschaft champions always looking hungry for yet another title, Germany is very unlikely to disappoint this season.”
