Announcing the HTC 1v1 Invitational by PGL, a new kind of CS:GO event

HTC and PGL are teaming up to bring CS:GO fans around the world the most exciting 1v1 matches between some of the biggest names in the scene.

Watch some of your favorite CS:GO celebrities let loose in this informal competition designed to put both skill and personality at the forefront. HTC and PGL are aiming for a new breed of CS:GO events with this endeavor, and fans of the game and its players should be wary of missing out.

The HTC 1v1 Invitational by PGL will bring together 16 top players to face off in a LAN event between April 23rd and 24th, held in the PGL studios. The tournament boasts a $25,000 prize pool and will be streamed throughout on twitch.tv/PGL.

To make things interesting, the invitation list has been crafted to include both superstars and up-and-comers that will challenge people’s expectations.

Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács (playing for Natus Vincere) and Kenny “KennyS” Schrub (Team EnVyUs) are the first names HTC and PGL are announcing, with more to be revealed in the coming weeks leading up to the main event.

When not trying to best each other on aim maps, players will have fun on the HTC Vive, as well as challenging one another in table football, board games or even arm wrestling! All for your viewing pleasure on twitch.tv/PGL
