PAX East is just around the corner and ESL will be bringing you a ton of excitement directly from the show floor in Boston, Massachusetts! The event runs from Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24 and ESL has a lot going on for both show attendees and via livestream. Here’s a guide to keep you informed.
ESL ARENA
The centerpiece of all the esports action at PAX East will be the ESL Arena, sponsored by Plantronics and Skype. We’ll be presenting a major esports event each day of the show where you can watch top ESL Pro League players battle it out for prestige and prizes across three different titles.
• RAINBOW SIX PRO LEAGUE SEASON 1 FINALS (Xbox One)
Friday, April 22 starting at 11:00AM EST
The ESL Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League will come to an end for two North American and two European Xbox One teams on Friday, April 22! Join us at the ESL Arena at 11:00AM EST as the four teams battle to become the first ever Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege champion and to take home a share of the US$50,000 prize pool.
• GEARS OF WAR PRO LEAGUE SEASON 2 FINALS
Saturday, April 23 starting at 11:00AM EST
The Gears of War Pro League Season 2 Finals will take place on Saturday, April 23 starting at 11:00AM EST as the top four teams fight for the championship title and a share of the US$60,000 prize pool. During the matches, viewers will also get a sneak peek at the Gears of War 4 competitive game mode, which is set to change the future of Gears of War esports!
• HALO CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES INVITATIONAL
Sunday, April 24 starting at 11:30AM EST
The first qualifier for the newly announced Halo Pro League is happening at PAX East! The HCS Pro League Invitational will be broadcast live starting at 11:30AM EST on Sunday, April 24 as Evil Geniuses, OpTic Gaming, Team EnVyUs and Enigma 6 battle it out. Team Allegiance disbanded after the Halo World Championship, and the four squadmates are now each occupying a roster spot on these four teams. But only one of them will come away with the second official HCS Pro League spot!
