Starting today, the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League is back for its second season. While kicking off with the Xbox One competition today, 30th of May, the PC competition will follow suit into the second season this Thursday, 2nd of June, in both North America and Europe. However, there are quite a few updates on the tournament for you, before the new season is kicking off.
New faces, new rules and more prize money on the line!
Besides the top four teams from the first season, the bottom four had to fight through relegation. So when taking a look at the teams involved in season two, you might spot a few new faces across the four competitions.

North America: PC – Xbox One
With the introduction of the “Dust Line” DLC, a few rules and settings had to be adjusted. Border is replacing Yacht in the map pool, Valkyrie and Blackbeard are now good to use in the Pro League, teams are only allowed to use one character with a shield (either Montagne, Recruit with a shield, or Blackbeard) and the number of map vetoes goes up to four.
Last but not least, the prize pool has been increased by 50 percent to a blasting US$150,000 across the four competitions. This way, proving your skills in the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League has become even more rewarding than it already was for the premier season.
