The CWL is coming to London!

By Gfinity

We’ve been dropping some teasers in the last few weeks about the return of Call of Duty to the Gfinity Arena & Studios… and we thought it was about time we let you in on what we’ve got planned.

We’re delighted to announce that in collaboration with Activision and the Call of Duty World League, presented by PlayStation 4, we’ll be bringing you the Gfinity CWL Summer Masters from July 1st – 3rd. Taking place in the heart of London at the Gfinity Arena & Studios in Fulham Broadway, the Summer Masters will showcase Europe’s most talented and exciting Black Ops III prospects as they compete for a share of our $20,000 prizepool.

The Summer Masters will feature a total of 16 teams, complied from a mixture of invitations and open qualifiers.

We will be hosting a series of Gfinity CWL Summer Masters qualifiers, with the winner of each respective qualifier earning an invitation to the live event. So grab your team-mates and dust off your controllers, signups will begin within the coming week!

Unfortunately, all participants must be European residents and at least 18 years old.

CWL Challenge Division points are also on offer as an added incentive for those teams outside of the Pro Division.

More of a spectator than a competitor? We’ve got you covered.

We’ll bring you EVERY moment of EVERY single game across all three days live on stream, meaning you’ll never miss those crucial plays or crazy ninja defuses. With matches taking place as best of 5 series and the Grand Final as a best of 7 series, there’s a lot of CoD action to get your teeth into!

Want to watch the action live from the Arena & Studios? We don’t blame you. We’ll have more information on spectator tickets over the coming weeks, so make sure you keep an eye on the website and our Twitter for details as demand is going to be high.

To get you excited for the event, we can already reveal that we’ll be bringing three of the UK’s finest Call of Duty personalities; Alan ‘Bricetacular’ Brice, Oliver ‘ReL’ Whitfield and Chris Tunn.

More details regarding the rest of the casting and analyst team will be released soon, you may even get to see the appearance of one of your American favourites (spoiler alert!).

Get ready CoD fans, this is going to be big and fantastic!
