Introducing the North American Halo Championship Series: Pro League Summer Season Finals broadcast team!

By ESL Gaming

After seven weeks of the North American Halo Championship Series: Pro League, only four teams remain in contention for the title of Summer Season Champions. On the weekend of July 30, some of the best Halo teams in the world will battle at L.A. Live, and the talent lineup will be just as unforgettable as the venue itself. Take a look at your broadcast team for the HCS Pro League Summer Season Finals.

• Kyle “Elamite” Elam

“I am so excited for Finals this year, we finally have several teams creeping on the heels of Counter Logic Gaming, a team that seemed unstoppable since they won $1 million and took the title World Champions earlier this year. Keep an eye on Enigma 6, and especially Huke, to see if he has what it takes to lead his team to another victory. But don’t forget about Team EnVyUs, especially Mikwen and Pistola, two all-stars that we missed at Halo World Championships, but have come out and dominated over the course of the regular season.”

• Michael “Strongside” Cavanaugh

“I’m excited to see a rematch between E6 and CLG. Keep an eye out for Huke because he hasn’t let up on the gas all season long. If Huke gets a sniper…it doesn’t matter who the other team is. He is going to put on a montage.”

• Tom “TSquared” Taylor

”Words can’t really describe how much it means to me to be a part of the HCS Pro League Summer Finals. We have an amazing venue to enjoy the highest level of competition for Halo 5. The players will always put on entertaining games and I look forward to sharing that excitement with the rest of the casting crew, 343, ESL, and to everyone watching at home.”

• Richard “TheSimms” Simms

“Without question it’s the relegation matches that I’m most excited to see. Obviously the bigger story of this Finals is can anyone take down the mighty CLG, but I’m very very interested to see the relegation side of things. Can OpTic make the fall lineup after a rough end to a shaky Summer Season? Will LANiac come alive? Will we see the APG of old? Will we see a new player in Fall season. Denial is looking HOT coming into the event and after an amazing series against RNG on the last day of Pro League, Liquid is looking better than ever! Who will rise and who will fall?”

• Dan “Gaskin” Gaskin

“I’m obviously just as excited as the rest of the world right now to see whether CLG can continue their dominance at Finals. E6 did show that CLG can bleed however, so I’m expecting some resistance from several teams. Aside from that I’m delighted to be able to cast a North American event with such an incredible bunch of commentators, especially my co-caster Simms.”

• Andy “Bravo” Dudynsky

“The first HCS Pro League Finals are finally upon us, and there are a few stories I am particularly excited about. For starters, will we see CLG continue their dominance, or will we see a rare moment of weakness? Will E6 emerge with the confidence we’ve seen in the better part of their season, firing on all cylinders? On the relegation front, I’m wondering if OpTic and Liquid are prepared to fight for their spots as professional teams in an epic showdown that is new to competitive Halo. Lastly, I’m excited to see which players steal the stage next weekend – we’ve seen incredible clips and plays from many of these players all season long, but if there’s one thing I know about competitive Halo, it’s that there’s always room for some surprises. It’s an honor to be a part of this excellent broadcast team, and I hope everyone enjoys the show!”
