In July, Modern Combat 5 saw it’s Go4 tournament series start on ESL Play with the first five cups being played in Europe and North America. Now, it’s time to see the top eight teams of July clashing once more in the monthly finals! This Saturday, the European finals will take place, seeing the teams from the open cups fighting for the lion’s share of the €750 prize pot on top of the €150 up for grabs in the weekly cups.
The first monthly final in Europe
With two teams from Germany, two from France, two from Iraq as well as one from Croatia and a mixed European one, we have a very mixed field taking this chance to reach for the top – find the full list of qualified teams on ESL Play. This Saturday, 13th of August, from 19:00 CEST on, Phil “MoMo” Whitfield and René “GRunner” Buttler will be bringing you the action.
Tune in for the EU Monthly Final of Go4MC5!
Saturday, 13th of August, at 19:00 CEST
Tune in to see the teams of EMP Clan, SANGNEUF, McY ClaN and many more giving it all for their share of the €750 prize pool, special in-game ESL camo for the top three teams and to become the first ever monthly final winners in Modern Combat 5!
Phil “MoMo” Whitfield on casting Modern Combat 5 this weekend:
“I honestly can’t wait to get my teeth into another first person shooter as that is where my heart lies, but to be trying it on a mobile device is something I never thought I would be saying. I really like how it’s the first of its kind and honestly who doesn’t have a mobile phone or tablet these days? It is easy and accessible and anyone can download and play within minutes. I must say I have struggled but i’m getting better and will be wanting to battle against some of these pros.”
