A dedicated PES League mode will be integrated into PES 2017 ahead of the upcoming PES League season.
The mode, which is due later this year, will be the first time in PES history that players will be able to compete in Official PES League matches directly through such a mode and will make access to the competiton easier than ever for users.
Senior Director of Brand and Business Development at Konami, Jonas Lygaard commented on the mode, stating that “as the PES series continues to go form strength to strength, we [Konami] are exploring a number of ways to build it’s reputation within the eSports sector.
He also added that the dedicated mode would also feature in future iterations “allowing organised competitions to become easily accessible to absolutely everyone owning a PES title.”
Further details about the forthcoming PES League season will be revealed nearer to the release of PES 2017 which will be available on September 13 (LatAm) and September 15 (Rest of World). Announcements on this will be made on www.pesleague,com and the Official PES League Twitter Channel.
