RED BULL 5G SOUTH FINALS ARRIVE AT MCM COMIC CON

Red Bull 5G offers gamers across the country the chance to experience a professional tournament and win an all-expenses paid trip to Japan where the tournament originated. Wild card qualifiers at MCM Comic Con will see amateur players compete in three of five Red Bull 5G games, Project CARS, Rocket League and Street Fighter V to secure a place in the Birmingham final in November.

Inspired by traditional 5 vs 5 martial arts tournaments, the classic rivalry between East and West, and a growing culture of competitive gaming, Red Bull 5G was created in Japan in 2012. With the growing eSports scene and the classic North/South divide in the UK, Red Bull 5G will make its way to London this month as players compete in one of five world renowned games; Hearthstone, League of Legends, Project CARS, Rocket League and Street Fighter V.

Players can register to take part in a wild card competition on site at MCM Comic Con, competing on GeForce GTX-powered PCs at the Red Bull 5G area. The wild card will see finalists challenged by new talent emerging on the day and open the competition wide open for a place in the national final in Birmingham on November 20th.

The North regional final took place at Play Expo in Manchester on October 9th with five regional winners securing their place in the final with a chance to win the ultimate prize of a trip to experience the original Red Bull 5G competition in Japan.

Visit Red Bull 5G at MCM Comic Con to sign up to take part in one of three wild cards on Friday and Saturday morning.
