For the first time in the history of MSI’s annual international eSports tournament, the Masters Gaming Arena (MGA) Championship will hold its Grand Finals in London, as MSI brings an unprecedented, adrenaline-pumping event to the Gfinity Arena.
The Overwatch MGA 2016 Championship, presented by MSI will have a stacked talent pool to complement the high level of competition taking place in London. Featuring some of the best known hosts, analysts and commentators in the Overwatch scene, the talent lineup consists of Soe “Soembie” Gschwind-Penski, Mitch “UberShouts” Leslie, Andrew “ZP” Rush, Josh “Sideshow” Wilkinson and Robert “Hexagrams” Kirkbride.
Competing for the top prize of $40,000 USD will be winners of their respective Regional Finals – Rise Nation, Ninjas in Pyjamas and KongDoo Panthera – who will be joined by invited guest team Fnatic.
The final champion of MGA 2016 will walk away with a US$40,000 cash prize. Second place, third place, and fourth place will be awarded US$20,000, US$10,000, and US$5,000, respectively. The Grand Finals will be broadcast live on MSI’S Twitch channel (below).
