HGC Headlines Taiwan’s Blizzard Estadium and More

Blizzard Entertainment

The HGC will be at home in Taipei.

Heroes of the Storm will be one of the first games to set up shop in Taiwan’s new Blizzard Estadium when the HGC Eastern Clash rolls into town beginning August 11. The HGC’s second major event in Asia for 2017, the Eastern Clash will once again bring together top teams from China, Korea, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan to battle over a $100,000 prize pool and bragging rights over half of the HGC system.

While the thrill of a new stadium home will make the next Eastern Clash a special one, the HGC will also be turning up the intensity on Heroes competition elsewhere this year, with major events planned on other continents. These include the Mid-Season Brawl in Jönköping and the Western Clash in Kiev, as well as the culmination of the 2017 HGC calendar—the HGC Finals at BlizzCon. Each of these events will afford fans an opportunity to enjoy the action in-person and via live streams as the elite teams of the HGC system battle for increasingly higher stakes and prestige.

Check the major event schedule, make your plans and stay tuned as the best of HGC is still to come.
