The Defense Shaped Dota 2 Tournament Landscape
In 2011, the very first The Defense tournament was organized. At this time it was the largest tournament in Dota 2 and with their success, other tournament organizers began to follow with their own tournament formats. Over four seasons, The Defense cultivated an ardent community and helped to build Dota 2 into the established eSports title it is today.
