With two seasons boasting US$750,000 in prize money each (a US$250,000 increase on last year\u2019s season totals), that means an incredible US$1,500,000 is on the line for the competing teams &#8211; and no one is going to let that kind of money slip through their fingers without a fight.<\/p>\n<p>The ESL Pro League<\/p>\n<p>The ESL Pro League will kick off on the week of February the 8th to the 14th 2016, with the final week of play set to take place from the 25th to the 30th of April 2016. ESL One Katowice became the first ever Counter-Strike event in history to break one million concurrent viewers, while ESL One Cologne managed to eclipse the newly set record with a peak concurrent viewership of 1.3 million, thereby becoming the most watched Counter-Strike tournament of all time. And over the course of 2015, the ESL Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Pro League accumulated over 100 million sessions and almost 30 million hours watched.
