This year, East Asia sees the dawn of a new kind of eSports tournament: one devoted to grassroots players and tailored to Asia and Oceania. The purpose of ROG MASTERS is to give the kind of time in the limelight that can shift a tight knit amateur team into celebrated pro players. On September 12th the East Asia Online Qualifiers will begin. Aspiring DOTA 2 and CS:GO teams from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau will battle it out to determine who represents the region at the Offline Grand Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A 200,000 USD prize pool awaits \u2013 as do the champions of the four other tournament zones \u2013 so reputation, respect, and even national pride are all to play for. This is ROG MASTERS’ last call to the thriving fledgling teams of East Asia: the registration deadline is midnight, Sunday, September 11th.<\/p>\n
