A field of 32 of the Circuit\u2019s best StarCraft II players will be competing live for a ticket to the WCS Global Playoffs, their share of the massive $150,000 prize pool, and the cut of the 11,000 WCS Circuit points up for grabs.<\/p>\n<p>France has always been one of the most impressive nations when it comes to real-time strategy games, producing legendary players like Stephano and ToD. We recently saw PtitDrogo take the first WCS Circuit event of the year at DreamHack Open: Leipzig, earning $16,000 and 1,000 WCS Circuit points. At Tours we can expect to see rivals Lilbow, Dayshi, MarineLorD, and Firecake all looking to oust him from his position atop the WCS point ranking. Two players will come from a dedicated hosting nation French Qualifier; the full breakdown can be seen below. <\/p>\n<p>Slot Distribution <\/p>\n<p>Regional Challenge<br \/>\n\u2022Two for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East<br \/>\n\u2022Two for North America (USA and Canada)<br \/>\n\u2022One for Latin America<br \/>\n\u2022One for China<br \/>\n\u2022One for Oceania, Southeast Asia, and Japan<br \/>\n\u2022One for Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau<\/p>\n<p>Server Qualifiers<br \/>\n\u2022Eight for European Server Qualifiers<br \/>\n\u2022Six for North American Server Qualifiers<\/p>\n<p>Host National Qualifier<br \/>\n\u2022Two for French Qualifier<br \/>\n\u2022Dates and sign-ups for all qualifiers will be released by DreamHack soon.<\/p>\n<p>WCS Standings<br \/>\n\u2022Eight players from the WCS Circuit Standings as of April 11th<\/p>\n<p>In order to compete in the WCS Circuit Championship, players must be citizens or residents of one of the eligible regions listed above. Details for Regional Challengers and all additional qualifiers will be released soon.<\/p>\n<p>Format<\/p>\n<p>The formal of the WCS Spring Championship will be single elimination with best-of-five matches and a Grand Final best-of-seven series.<\/p>\n<p>DreamHack Tours<\/p>\n<p>All matches will be played live at DreamHack Tours 2016, happening from May 14th-16th.
