{"id":800,"date":"2016-06-20T19:39:08","date_gmt":"2016-06-20T19:39:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gamegnome.com\/esports\/?p=800"},"modified":"2016-06-20T19:39:08","modified_gmt":"2016-06-20T19:39:08","slug":"dota-2-international-2016-invites-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gamegnome.com\/esports\/2016\/06\/20\/dota-2-international-2016-invites-revealed\/","title":{"rendered":"Dota 2 International 2016 Invites Revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The six teams receiving an invite to 2016\u2019s Dota 2 International have been revealed, and if you\u2019ve been following this year\u2019s Majors then there\u2019s likely very little here to surprise anyone.<\/p>\n<p>The six teams set to be coming to Dota 2\u2019s International in August this year will be: OG, Team Liquid, Newbee, LGD Gaming, MVP Phoenix and Natus Vincere \u2013 or NaVi to you and I.<\/p>\n<p>Each of these teams have had consistent performances at various competitions throughout the year, with the recent Dota 2 Manila Major proving that these teams are easily the best Dota 2 teams right now.<\/p>\n<p>It was OG who took the grand finals at the Manila Major, dominating the tournament which each series and even managing to win 2-0 against MVP Phoenix in a series that was too close \u2013 on paper \u2013 to easily predict who would end up the victor.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the six invited teams, Dota 2\u2019s 2016 International will also include two teams (winner and runner-up) from each region during a qualifying round, as well as two wild card teams too.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside two teams from an open qualifying round, six teams from the Americas and eight teams each from Europe, China and Southeast Asia will compete in a regional qualifying round to determine who will make it to the International proper. These are:<\/p>\n<p>Dota 2 Internaional Qualifying Teams<\/p>\n<p>Americas<br \/>\n\u2022Digital Chaos<br \/>\n\u2022Friendship, Dedication, Love<br \/>\n\u2022Complexity Gaming<br \/>\n\u2022Not Today<br \/>\n\u2022Vultur Gaming<br \/>\n\u2022Drinking Boys<br \/>\n\u2022+ two teams from open qualifiers<\/p>\n<p>China<br \/>\n\u2022Vici Gaming.Reborn<br \/>\n\u2022TongFu<br \/>\n\u2022CDEC<br \/>\n\u2022Wings Gaming<br \/>\n\u2022IG<br \/>\n\u2022CDEC.Youth<br \/>\n\u2022EHOME<br \/>\n\u2022IG.Vitality<br \/>\n\u2022+ two teams from open qualifiers<\/p>\n<p>Europe<br \/>\n\u2022Alliance<br \/>\n\u2022Power Rangers<br \/>\n\u2022Team Empire<br \/>\n\u2022Ad Finem<br \/>\n\u2022Vega Squadron<br \/>\n\u2022Flipsid3 Tactics<br \/>\n\u2022Virtus.Pro<br \/>\n\u2022No Diggity<br \/>\n\u2022+ two teams from open qualifiers<\/p>\n<p>Southeast Asia<br \/>\n\u2022Fnatic<br \/>\n\u2022Rave<br \/>\n\u2022Mineski<br \/>\n\u2022Signature Trust<br \/>\n\u2022Warriors Gaming.Unity<br \/>\n\u2022Execration<br \/>\n\u2022Orange.Taring<br \/>\n\u2022The Mongolz<br \/>\n\u2022+ two teams from open qualifiers<\/p>\n<p>The open qualifiers begins on 21 June and ends 24 June, and you can register over on the Dota 2 website. After this the regional qualifying round will take place from the 25 June until the 28 June.<\/p>\n<p>The 2016 Dota 2 International takes place on the 3 August until the 13 August, and will be hosted at the Key Arena in Seattle.
