Major League Gaming (MLG) is happy to announce our participation in the Call of Duty\u00ae World League, Presented by PlayStation\u00ae4. As part of the integration between the CWL and MLG, MLG has started working on live and online events that have CWL Pro Point awards. Recently, MLG hosted the Call of Duty\u00ae MLG Anaheim Open where 108 teams competed for more than $100,000 in total prizing. CWL Pro Points were awarded to the top 60 teams. The upcoming Call of Duty\u00ae MLG Orlando Open will also feature CWL Pro Point awards and $100,000 total prize pool.<\/p>\n
What are CWL Pro Points & Why do I need them?<\/p>\n
CWL Sanctioned Tournament Seeding<\/p>\n
Call of Duty\u00ae World League Tournaments use CWL Pro Points to seed their Tournament Bracket. The more points you have, the better seed you will receive.<\/p>\n
Call of Duty\u00ae World League Qualifcation<\/p>\n
CWL Pro Points are key for Call of Duty\u00ae World League Championship qualification at Call of Duty XP this September. <\/p>\n
Teams outside of the CWL Pro Division qualifiers can still earn their way into the Call of Duty\u00ae World League Championship by earning CWL Pro Points through sanctioned LAN events & online tournaments. Participation and placing in these events will provider a better opportunity to be part of the regional qualifying events.<\/p>\n
Teams will be invited to the CWL Championship qualifiers based on the amount of CWL Pro Points accrued by the four rostered players.

\n\u2022Online qualifiers will take place August 12 – 14<\/p>\n
\u2022Europe CWL Championship Qualifier\u202224 Teams will compete for 8 Spots
