IDC/Games & Turtle Entertainment, founder and organizer of the ESL, announced today that Metal Assault would be included to the list of games in the ESL. Contests will take the classic ESL format, like OPEN & Go4, and have weekly & monthly format, with to-be-announced cash prizes.
The first competition will come the 25th of June, where a non-ranked cup will take place, followed by the real competition in the coming weeks. Metal Assault is a 2D Anime-style shooter where players transform into an armed to the teeth R.O.C Operative who needs to explore the city of HERZ. The game has a lobby room from which players can recruit others to their clans, chat, buy & sell items and plan out their next operation with their friends. Metal Assault offers both PvP and PvE content, with several game modes:
– PvP: Solo, co-op and team battles where you’ll need to power through explosive action to get to conquer several control points so as to achieve victory.
– PvE: BRAAAAINNNSS! : HERZ has been invaded by Zombies, players need to defend and fight against these monsters throughout a plethora of missions.
– GET TO DA CHOPPA: In this game mode, players need to survive in a battlefield full of deadly vehicles and weapons they’ll need to use to destroy their enemies, be it alone or with friends they can share the vehicles with.
