The biggest gaming culture convention in the Baltic States “GameOn” has just opened registration into League of Legends and CS:GO eSports tournaments, with the finals taking place at the event on 16th – 17th of September in Vilnius, Lithuania.
After attracting a huge team count last year the most popular eSports tournaments will come back again this year and will be completely free for the athletes to participate. Before the finals on the main stage, the teams will have to battle each other in the online finals that will be starting at the end of July.
“Every time when you watch the biggest eSports events in the world there is a feeling, that makes you think about the experiences being there. It is good to know, that we, here in Lithuania, are doing our best to improve the quickly growing eSport scene in the region, it is great to see the fans who are more often than not chanting their favourite team name and the best feeling of all is to see how our talents are slowly but steadily going into the always competitive eSports world” – said the GameOn League of Legends tournament coordinator Egle Morkunaite.
The registration to the CS:GO eSports cup will be open until July 23rd while League of Legends players are able to fill out the registration form until August.
