The first regional LAN event of ROG Masters 2017, the China Qualifier, will take place at ChinaJoy in Shanghai from July 27 to July 30, 2017. For Dota 2 and CS:GO fans alike, the tournament will electrify the scenes of two of the world’s most beloved esports titles, in one of the world’s premier esports nations.
Of the eight top-tier Chinese teams stepping into the fierce competition, only two will emerge victorious and secure their place in the Grand Finals, where they will face champions from EMEA, APAC, and Americas. Each team is composed of proven professional players who are experienced at the highest level of esports. The teams are:
- Dota 2: CDEC Gaming, Team MAX, ViCi Gaming Potential and VDuoBao
- CS:GO: TyLoo, UYA, ViCi Gaming and EHOME
With China’s indisputable status as a world center of Dota 2, explosive showdowns are guaranteed. The CS:GO matches, meanwhile, will see strong contenders with international experience facing off against one another. Local fans are welcome to experience the live action in Hall 4 of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Chinese and English livestreams will be available for audiences worldwide.
