League Ruling: OpTic Gaming sanction for missing roster submission deadline

OpTic Gaming receive a major penalty for not providing their season 6 roster in time.

Background

Teams are required to submit their roster prior to the start of each season. The league administrator sets forth a deadline for the roster submission. For the current season that deadline expired by end of day (PDT) on August 15. The league administration extended this deadline to end of day on Thursday August 17 for all participating teams.

Neither deadline was met by OpTic Gaming.

Ruling

OpTic Gaming’s failure to submit their roster by the end of business on Thursday August 17 has been deemed a major incident by the league administration in coordination with the WESA commissioner. Consequently, OpTic Gaming are penalized with one (1) major penalty point. The team will receive a ten (10) percent deduction of prize-money won for Pro League Season 6.

The ruling follows point 8.2 of the rulebook. The pirze-money will be re-distributed to all other teams of the league.
