GameWorks & Unrivaled Tournament to Host Free Games for PAX West Attendees

From September 1st through 4th, the Unrivaled Tournament Series, and GameWorks Seattle will be offering free game play to all registered attendees of the PAX West convention.

The Seattle GameWorks store was the fourth location in the Unrivaled Tournament multi-city Regionals where winning players earned an expense-free trip to Las Vegas for the Finals on October 27th – 29th being held at Bally’s and The Paris. Grand Winners of the six featured board games will take home $10,000.00 each, with a matching prize awarded to their host game store or favorite charity. Will Wheaton, the geek culture icon of The Big Bang Theory and the widely popular Tabletop, will be hosting.

The Unrivaled Tabletop Tournament Series began in April of this year. It features six popular board games: King of Tokyo, Munchkin, Ascension, Epic Spell Wars, Nevermore, and Villagers & Villains. Satellite qualifiers took place from April through June. The fourteen regional tournaments are being held at GameWorks locations and local game stores throughout the country. All of the events are being streamed live on oomba.tv.
