The broadcast lineup for Heroes of the Dorm 2018 is set, as Halorin, InVerum, and TheSource are back to cast every round of the tournament including the Heroic Four. This year, the desk will feature a rotation of special guests, with former Heroes of the Storm pro Dunktrain sitting in first.
As of today, more than 320 collegiate Heroes of the Storm Teams are locked in for the initial phase of Heroes of the Dorm that’ll see teams across the country competing in regional group stages. With plenty of high-level college competition in store for 2018, be sure to tune into twitch.tv/blizzheroes beginning February 14 for all of the action.
Get to know the crew of talented casters that will guide us through year four of the ultimate college esports tournament.
Paul “InVerum” Todkill
In 2007, Paul began his career in esports focusing first on console shooters, then the multiplayer online battle arena genre, and eventually Heroes of the Storm in 2015. Once in the Nexus, Paul became a staple in the amateur scene as a player, coach, and eventually a caster. When he isn’t announcing Heroes matches, Paul develops and markets mobile apps and works as an esports marketing consultant.
Bron “TheSource” Mitchell
Bron hails from Massachusetts and has been working in esports since 2011, covering multiple games and responsibilities. He started as a commentator, dabbled in journalism and coaching for the multiplayer online battle arena scene, and eventually found a home with the Heroes of the Storm community. Bron brings more to the table than just knowledge of plays and strategies —he focuses on player psychology and team communication.
Albert “Halorin” Hailey III
As a child, Albert played any and every game he could get his hands on. His passion for games eventually led him to Heroes of the Storm in 2015. Halorin started casting in the Chair League during its inaugural season, and after time on the desk during last year’s Heroes of the Dorm, Albert went on to cast the Heroes Hype Tempo Storm Series. When casting, Halorin’s main goal is to have fun and share his excitement with the audience.
Derek “DunkTrain” Arabian – Special Guest
DunkTrain has been a part of the Heroes of the Storm scene since the very beginning. He started as a player on Cloud9, where he competed in and won the first-ever Heroes of the Storm World Championship. After two seasons of play, he made the switch to team Dignitas as their head coach, then left to begin his career as a full-time streamer. As a first-time Heroes of the Dorm caster, DunkTrain is excited to share his experience and perspective as a former world champion.
