Vince DiCola to Perform With LonelyRollingStars at MAGFest 2018

The Music and Gaming Festival (MAGFest) is thrilled to announce that composer Vince DiCola-best known for his soundtracks to Transformers: The Movie (1986) and Rocky IV-will be taking to the main stage alongside game music cover band LonelyRollingStars at MAGFest 2018. The event is set to take place in National Harbor, Maryland on January 4, 2018 through January 7, 2018. In addition to his live set, DiCola will also be holding a question and answer panel and an autograph session for fans.

Over 48 performers and 17,000 fans will converge on the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center to celebrate music and games over the course of four non-stop days that will also include interactive panels, an indie game showcase, charity auctions, gaming and music vendors, and more. The event’s musical offerings include nightly main stage concerts, a chiptune rave party, a DJ Battle, a formal ballroom concert, impromptu jam sessions, and much more.

“This will my first MAGFest experience and I’m really looking forward to connecting with fans and performing again,” says DiCola. “I’m also looking forward to meeting and playing with the LonelyRollingStars! They are talented musicians and I appreciate their interest in learning and performing some of my own material at the show. Thanks to the band and the organizers at MAGFest. Should be fun!”

Other highlights from this year’s event will include Sonic series composer Jun Senoue performing the Sonic Adventure Music Experience, a game music composer collective band (Alexander Brandon, Gareth Coker, Darren Korb, Gordy Haab) backed by the Videri String Quartet, and a first-time live performance of Ninja Gaiden composer Keiji Yamagishi’s original Retro-Active works.
