PUBG Continental Series 4 begins open qualifiers

KRAFTON, Inc., the creators of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG), has announced details around its next premier esports event, PUBG Continental Series 4 (PCS4). PCS4 consists of four online regional tournaments across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Asia-Pacific. Sixteen teams from each region will compete for their share of the more than $250,000 USD prize pool (for a total prize pool of over $1,000,000 across all regions).

All PUBG Esports Europe teams, regardless of experience and skill level, will have the opportunity to qualify for PCS4 Europe through regional Open Qualifiers. Sixteen teams will progress from the Open Qualifiers and join eight invited teams at Regional Playoffs – the eight best performing sides will then progress to the Grand Finals where they will face eight of the region’s top teams. Voting coupons can be obtained by purchasing PCS4 items or by watching the tournaments. Thirty percent of revenue generated through the sale of PCS4 items will be added to the overall prize pool. Additional PCS4 Pick ‘Em Challenge details will be announced soon.

Watch: PUBG Esports 2021 Roadmap video

To help fans follow all the action, KRAFTON, Inc. has shared a PUBG Esports Europe 2021 roadmap video, outlining key milestones to look forward to. It is going to be a busy year with PCS4 and PCS5, as well as LAN event PUBG Global Championship (PGC) in November.
