PUBG: NEW STATE, Over 17 million pre-registrations on the Google Play

PUBG: NEW STATE surpassed more than 17 million pre-registrations on the Google Play Store. This major milestone comes shortly after the company hosted the game’s first successful closed Alpha Test, which ran from 11-13 June in the U.S. PUBG Studio, the developer behind PUBG: NEW STATE, will analyse all the data and valuable player feedback it received during the Alpha Test and will focus on improving key facets of the game ahead of its full release later this year.

As the daily pre-registration rate for PUBG: NEW STATE has increased following the Alpha Test, KRAFTON also announced it will open pre-registration for the game on Apple’s App Store in Q3 2021. Android users can still pre-register now on Google Play* to get an exclusive vehicle skin and the latest information on the game. Additionally, KRAFTON recently revealed that BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA** surpassed more than 20 million pre-registrations on Google Play within two weeks, further emphasising the strong global appetite for premier battle royale experiences on mobile.

Developed by PUBG Studio, pioneers of the battle royale genre and creators of PUBG, the game will launch as a free-to-play experience on Android and iOS. PUBG: NEW STATE recreates the original battle royale experience and evolves it to make the most realistic battle royale experience on mobile. In addition to featuring the most dynamic and realistic gunplay for mobile gaming, the game features state-of-the-art rendering technology that pushes the limits of mobile gaming.
