Scotland’s biggest gaming festival, Insomnia X Resonate, is in Glasgow from 21 to 23 July for a weekend of all things gaming featuring a new Virtual Reality Zone and the first Scotland v England YouTubers battle.
The action-packed festival takes place at Scottish Event Campus (SEC), Glasgow from 21-23 July.
The new VR Zone will allow visitors to experience the latest headset and games through virtual reality; the Retro Zone is an old-school throwback to classic games and the Indie Zone is an interactive area where guests can play, compete and watch up-and-coming games before they are released! The popular Minecraft Zone also makes a return.
Other highlights include meet and greets with Youtube Stars and a Scotland v England daily Youtubers battle at 1300 hours with special guests including 8-bit gaming, Marley Thirteen and more. Nintendo’s hottest console, the Switch, will feature on stage every day at 1100 hours.
For the competitive natured, there are turn-up and play tournaments for both console and PC fans battling it out to win prizes on gaming big timers such as Rocket League, Tekken and FIFA.
