Crimson Esports to replace Avangar in the IEM Oakland PUBG Invitational

Avangar have failed to fulfil the travel documentation requirements and have been disqualified.

Qualifiers for the IEM Oakland PUBG Invitational concluded last weekend and a total of eight teams from Europe and North America secured their position to compete. The first place finishing team in the European qualifier, Avangar, have failed to fulfill the requirement in providing validated travel documentation to enter the U.S.A. They will be replaced by the Crimson Esports who placed 5th in the EU qualifier.

Section: For most players residing outside of the United States this will mean having at least an up to date passport with at least 6 months validity from November 20 and having some form of visa or visa waiver for the United States and any countries you may need to travel via to reach the United States. If in doubt please check VisaHQ and with your local government.

Section: You must have a valid visa or equivalent permission to enter the United States for the duration of IEM Oakland!

Any players taking part in the IEM Oakland 2017 qualifiers will be required to show a valid Visa or visa waiver (for relevant countries) for entering the US by the end of October.

Any failure to provide entrance documents to the US before that date will cause the team to lose their qualifier position to the next team in line.
