ELEAGUE, the premium esports tournament and content brand from Turner and IMG, has unveiled its full commentator lineup for the upcoming ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017. The Premier is set to launch with a special preview show airing Friday, Sept. 1, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on TBS. Live action will take center stage the following week with the Group A round showcased Friday, Sept. 8, at 10 p.m. ET on TBS.
Richard Lewis will host the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017, joined by a five-person rotation of commentators including former professional Counter-Strike player Jason “Moses” O’Toole, Anders Blume, Daniel “DDK” Kapadia, Auguste “Semmler” Massonat and James Bardolph. The commentator team will serve in a hybrid caster-analyst role, offering pre- and post-match insights while also calling live in-game action in interchanging pairings. Additionally, Sue “Smix” Lee will be an in-arena correspondent, providing news and information throughout the event and interviews with key players.
ELEAGUE will launch the Premier with a one-hour preview show Friday, Sept. 1, at 10 p.m. on TBS, including highlights, news and analysis on the players and teams competing in the upcoming tournament. Lewis will host the show with Moses, Blume, DDK, Semmler and Bardolph providing commentary. The show will also feature an interview with Counter-Strike legend Olof “Olofmeister” Kajbjer, as well as a look back at the best CS:GO moments from past ELEAGUE events.
Live ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 matches will begin with Group A on Friday, Sept. 8, at 10 p.m. on TBS, with digital coverage beginning at 6 p.m. across Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and ELEAGUE.com. Live Group A matches will continue Saturday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m. with coverage available via those same digital platforms.
