Blizzard Entertainment
While the game and the goals remain the same, there are a few key differences for the region. HGC China will run from 1:00-6:00 a.m. PST / 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. CET on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Additionally, the first two weeks will feature twice the number of games, to account for the region powering down for much of February (for Chinese New Year). As a result, only matches scheduled during the stream times above will be broadcast.
Check out our schedule page for the full rundown of matches on the horizon.
The format will consist of two-game matches. Teams that win 2-0 will be awarded three points, while teams that go 0-2 will receive none. When teams tie 1-1, each team gets one point. The top three point earners at the end of five weeks will qualify for the Eastern Clash in Taipei, Taiwan this March.
Both Michael “KendricSwissh” Kratzel and Christopher “Tetcher” Ivermee have returned to cast HGC China, and will be broadcasting the games live on our main channel Twitch.tv/BlizzHeroes this year.
