PGL announced its new collaboration with Cobx Gaming, one of the leading esports companies in India. The two brands will be working together towards the joint production and execution of international events.
Fresh off the heels of a new successful project completed over the weekend in Shanghai, namely the EN broadcast of the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, PGL is already setting its sights towards the future and towards international expansion. One of the new markets PGL will break ground in is India, through its newly announced partnership with Cobx.
This collaboration will not only produce new unique events by pooling together the resources and creativity of both Cobx and PGL but it will also propel India on the global esports map as an attractive location alternative.
Cobx is playing an instrumental part in the growth of esports in India and Southeast Asia which started with organising one of the biggest online tournaments in India right after their inception in 2017. Cobx envisions to step into the international esports scene and has recently announced an international esports tournament, Cobx Masters 2018. The tournament will be a SEA tournament to be held in India and will include two of the major esports titles, Dota 2 and CS:GO.
