We are happy to announce today the details of Capcom Pro Tour Latin America (CPT LatAm) Regional Finals 2017, the tournament that will determine who is the best Latin American player in Street Fighter V! The CPT LatAm Regional Finals will take place at the eSports Arena Webedia in Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil, beginning on Thursday, November 2nd, with the Last Chance Qualifier. The winner of the Last Chance Qualifier will take the last spot of the region and join the top 7 players from the CPT LatAm Regional Ranking Point Leaderboard to compete at the CPT LatAm Grand Finals on Saturday, November 4th, for a spot at Capcom Cup.

Fans will be able to watch the CPT LatAm Grand Finals live on Saturday, November 4, beginning at around 10am PST (3pm local Sao Paulo time), with English commentary at Capcom Fighters or with Brazilian Portuguese commentary at Versus IGN Brasil.

Note: SFV player Thomas “F3|Brolynho” Proença and Saul Loenardo “RISE|MenaRD” Segundo have enough points on the Capcom Pro Tour Global Leaderboard and decided to not participate in the CPT LatAm Regional Finals 2017. According to the CPT Official Rules of Succession, his invitation is extended to the next highest ranked player on CPT LatAm’s Regional Ranking Point Leaderboard

Two of the best Street Fighter V Brazilian players Umbrella|HKDASH and AAG|DidimoKOF earned a spot at the CPT LatAm Grand Finals, as well as formidable players from other countries in Latin America. The winner of the CPT LatAm Grand Finals will be invited by Capcom USA to compete at Capcom Cup, regardless of his/her placement in the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard.

The Capcom Cup 2017 is the ultimate Street Fighter V tournament presenting the best 32 Street Fighter V players from all over the world (as defined by Capcom Pro Tour throughout the year), and will run on December 8-10, 2017 at the PlayStation Experience 2017 in Anaheim, CA, U.S.A.
