Detached multiplayer mode introduces tons of new mechanics – the newest update will be available from September 1st and while attending PAX West you can discover what exciting features it has to offer!

Play Detached at PAX West – put on VR goggles and test Race mode, explore the new map featuring even more action, visit our brand new multiplayer lobby, attempt the Simulation difficulty level, and work your way up the rankings. Challenge your opponents, prove your astronautic skills, and get your adrenaline flowing as you make chase through space!

Meet the Anshar Studios team at PAX West! Be one of the first to play the new Detached Race mode. Find the Detached stand on Floor 6, Stand 6003 (Indie Games Poland Booth). You will even have the chance to compete with our developers. Prove that you’re one of the best!

Master the controls of your advanced EVA suit and challenge other players – and developers – in this risky chase. Your victory in Race mode will depend on your experience and tactics! Be vigilant, because your rivals can take advantage of acceleration to shoot forwards at any moment. Built-in self-guided missiles will help you catch up by immobilizing your opponent for a few precious seconds. And with the new map you will experience even more intense action – a pursuit amidst space shuttle debris will max out your adrenaline levels. Get ready to rumble and clear as many checkpoints as you can. There can only be one winner.

In addition to Race mode, players can take advantage of several new features. The new, improved multiplayer lobby allows you to launch games faster than ever. What’s more, the best players will have the chance to show off their skills by setting new records in the multiplayer rankings, which are available in Package Extraction mode, Race mode, and the local records in single-player mode.

The upcoming update also includes a new difficulty level – Simulation is perfect for everyone who’s looking for free, undisturbed roaming. The movement speed now is unlimited and the player can be even faster in outer space!

• Go Hardcore – Experience 360-degree freedom of movement, rotation, and acceleration in a sandbox environment built for VR headsets.
• Blast, Splinter, and Charge – Use the Shield, Boost, and Rockets skills in both single-player and multiplayer modes. Hit targets with the homing missiles built into your suit. Master weapon cooldown times before your opponent gets the upper hand. Gain temporary immunity with the shield skill. Exploit boosting tunnels to gain a speed advantage.
• It’s Getting Atmospheric – Discover the big black beyond inspired by the sublimity of Gravity, while you are accompanied by the fully orchestrated score composed by Mikołaj Stroiński (The Witcher 3, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter).
• Astronaut Drills – Get to grips with your spacesuit’s controls in zero-G through a dynamic tutorial before venturing into outer space. FPS-style steering will introduce newbies and those sensitive to VR playing to the hardcore VR experience.
