Esports giant and League of Legends World Championships finalist Fnatic revealed its plans to repay the unbelievable support shown by its army of fans in Korea by opening a bar in Seoul to celebrate the Worlds finals this weekend. The Fnatic Bar will be open from 2-3 November (Friday-Saturday) and will celebrate Fnatic’s historic clash against Invictus Gaming in the LoL Worlds final on Saturday 3rd November in Incheon.
Taking over Seoul’s Retro Game Bar, the Fnatic Bar will offer fans the opportunity to compete against each other 1v1 in League of Legends, enjoy a bunch of retro games and be part of a huge pre-finals party, taking place on Friday 2nd November. Fnatic fans will also get access to a fully stocked store packed with Fnatic GEAR and Apparel.
“We’ve seen from Madrid at the LCS Summer Split and the group stages in Busan that our bar openings are incredibly popular amongst our fans. With us being in the final in Incheon, it was a no-brainer to repay the faith shown by our fans in the team throughout Worlds and give them somewhere to hang out and connect with other fans,” said Erik Londré, Head of Events for Fnatic. “Our LoL team is about to write themselves into the esports history books, so we needed a bar to match the occasion – and it will deliver just that. Thank you so much to all of the fans in Korea. This is for you!”
Fnatic’s clash against Invictus Gaming in the Worlds final commences on Saturday 3rd November at 17.30pm. The clash sees a repeat of the group stage game that saw Fnatic edge the tie 1-0. If victorious, Fnatic will lift the LoL World Championship for the first time since 2011.
The Fnatic Bar is located at the Retro Game Bar at Seoul, Mapo-gu, 잔다리로 7 3층. The bar will be open from Friday 2nd November to Saturday 3rd November, 10am-5pm each day.
