Intel® Extreme Masters
Intel® Extreme Masters returns to Katowice on March 2-4 with us US$500,000 CS:GO tournament featuring the world’s top teams. Eight out of the 16 competing teams will come from qualifiers, including 1 team from the Asia, and 1 team from the Oceania qualifier. Here are all the details about both.
- 1 slot for IEM Katowice 2018
- 2 open qualifiers (unlimited slots, single elimination bo1 with final match being bo3, winner of each goes to closed qualifier)
- 1 closed qualifier (6 slots, double elimination, 4 teams invited + 2 from the open qualifiers)
- Teams invited to the closed qualifier: TyLoo, The MongolZ, B.O.O.T, Flash Gaming.

- Open Qualifier #1 – January 7-8 (start time: 13:00 SGT)
- Open Qualifier #2 – January 16-17 (start time: 13:00 SGT)
Closed qualifier schedule
- January 19 at 15:00 & 18:00 SGT – upper bracket Ro6 & RO4 (bo3)
- January 20 at 15:00 & 18:00 SGT – LB Ro4b & UB Ro2 (bo3)
- January 21 at 15:00 & 18:00 SGT – LB Ro2a & LB Ro2b (bo3)
- January 22 at 15:00 & 18:00 SGT – grand final (bo5 with 1:0 advantage)
Please note that teams will have to communicate in English with tournament administrators, and will be playing on servers located in Singapore.
