BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. via independent partnerships with Twitch, Red Bull, and ELEAGUE is bringing TEKKEN™ 7 tournament events around the country and delivering the game’s hard-hitting action into living rooms throughout the nation. Through a variety of live events, TEKKEN 7 fans and serious fighting game players will be able to participate in a multitude of tournaments held throughout the United States or simply revel and cheer for their favorite players – at the highest levels of competitive play – on TV and online.
2017 marked the official return of TEKKEN 7 to a global stage with BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.’s TEKKEN World Tour. The tournament series held regional tournaments throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia in search of the best players in each respective region. The competition and heated-action culminated in an explosive finale at the TEKKEN World Tour Finals, held in San Francisco, California, where a diverse collection of highly-skilled competitors from around the globe fought to take home a large cash purse and most importantly… world-wide bragging rights.

TEKKEN World Tour 2018
Coming off last year’s stellar tour and earth-shaking finale, for 2018, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. continues its partnership with Twitch to raise the bar for this year’s TEKKEN World Tour. The tournament series will take-on a truly global format which will pit players from the Americas, Asia, and Europe against each other through a world-wide leader board system with competitors accruing Ranking Points (based on their results) on a global basis. TEKKEN World Tour kicks off its eight-month season for 2018 on March 16 at Final Round in Atlanta, GA. with additional regional events taking place in Peru, Thailand, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Korea, Italy, Australia, Taiwan, and more. The top 19 players who have accrued the most Ranking Points will automatically qualify to compete in the TEKKEN World Tour Finals event which will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands in November 2018. One additional finals slot will be open for the lucky winner of a Last Chance Qualifier tournament which will take place at the TEKKEN World Tour Finals. Red Bull Conquest
Working in conjunction with Red Bull, TEKKEN 7 will be one of the featured titles to bring together fighting game contenders from across the nation to battle for ultimate bragging rights at Red Bull Conquest, a brand-new fighting game tournament circuit empowering competitors to represent their local fighting game scene and embark on the journey to: RISE. RALLY. CONQUER.
Red Bull Conquest kicks off on April 28 in Chicago, from there, the tournament circuit will travel to 15 qualifiers across the United States, with one additional online qualifier, to determine which region has the best fighting game players. Red Bull Conquest Qualifiers will take place in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle, concluding with the Red Bull Conquest National Finals taking place in Washington D.C. on November 16-18, where one region will emerge victorious and claim victory as the best fighting game region in the nation.

ELEAGUE | TEKKEN Team Takedown
Taking TEKKEN 7 action into living rooms throughout the country, ELEAGUE, the premium esports content and live tournament brand from Turner & IMG partnered with BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. for the first-ever ELEAGUE | TEKKEN Team Takedown. The addition of TEKKEN 7 further expands ELEAGUE’s collection of popular esports titles and will bring the pulse-pounding action of TEKKEN 7 to viewers throughout the country and across the world.
ELEAGUE | TEKKEN Team Takedown began with a live tournament on Saturday, March 3, which was broadcast exclusively on Twitch where team captain Jeannail “Cuddle_Core” Carter led her team to the final victory through round after round of intense bouts featuring high-level TEKKEN 7 play. Coverage of the event now transitions to TBS for a four-part feature series set to premiere Friday, March 16, following TBS’ NCAA March Madness coverage. The four-part series will take viewers on an all-access tour of TEKKEN 7, revisiting the best moments and matches from the ELEAGUE stage.
A team of seasoned fighting game community (FGC) experts joined ELEAGUE host Richard Lewis to call the action and provide studio analysis along with player interviews. A team of well-known fighting game personalities were featured throughout the live tournament and TBS series, including Reepal “Rip” Parbhoo – ranked in the top 20 on the TEKKEN World Tour – Steve “Tasty Steve” Scott, and Stephen “Sajam” Lyon. In addition, TEKKEN ambassador and analyst Mark “MarkMan” Julio and reporter Michele Morrow both made their ELEAGUE debuts.
