Multiplay has today confirmed the final all-star line-up at its Insomia60 festival at the NEC in Birmingham. The UK’s largest gaming festival, which runs over the Easter bank holiday weekend, will welcome the biggest company names in gaming, alongside music stars, YouTube talent and thousands of fans. Alongside world-class esports gaming on top-of-the-range PCs, a number console experiences will be available.
PlayStation will be in attendance, bringing back the hugely popular PlayStation VR demos of Resident Evil: Biohazard and the upcoming Farpoint.
Meanwhile following the eagerly-anticipated launch of Nintendo Switch, Nintendo will be opening the Nintendo Zone at Insomnia for the first time, giving fans a chance to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a full two weeks before its official launch. Other Nintendo Switch games available to play will include Arms, Splatoon 2 and the critically-acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
For Microsoft fans, top titles including Forza Horizon 3, LEGO® CITY Undercover and Minecraft will be available to play on the stand.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros will be offering gamers the first playable UK Injustice 2 demo – the much-anticipated sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us. Not only will attendees be the first in the country to play the game, they’ll also be able to take part in a one-off amateur tournament for the chance to win exclusiveInjustice 2 merchandise bundles and a PS4TM console.
Japanese gaming royalty, Bandai Namco Entertainment, will be in attendance to introduce fans to the console multiplayer version of its popular title, Tekken 7.
Completing the publisher list is Wargaming and Psyonix, showcasing World of Tanks and Rocket League respectively. Wargaming will host a range of exciting activity, including a giveaway, esports tournament, audience engagement event and a photo booth. Meanwhile, Psyonix’s global sensation, Rocket League, will once again be the focus of a major tournament for fans, with prize money up for grabs.

This Easter’s Insomnia will also see the introduction of live music for the first time, led by Years and Years, Chase & Status, Wretch 32, Disciples and Jaguar Skills appearing on Saturday night’s main stage. The following day will see the Insomnia debut of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses – featuring a symphony orchestra performing over 30 years of iconic music from The Legend of Zelda franchise for families and fans alike.
