H1Z1 Pro League
Formed in 2015, Gankstars’ mission is to inspire sportsmanship while having exceptional skills and lovable personalities. Starting as a mobile-first esports organization with teams in games like Vain Glory and Critical Ops, Gankstars expanded and added Paladins and H1Z1 to their list of games. With a focus of winning, they are looking to help build a sustainable community of players and teams along with helping to increase the mass appeal and acceptance of esports.
When asked about the H1Z1 Pro League, a representative of Gankstars said “Battle Royale is the virtual (read: ethical) version of Hunger Games – many enter, one survives, and the time in-between is filled with drama, explosions, and unexpected twists and turns. We love the genre, which is why we rolled the dice back in June of last year with the signing of an H1 team and later paying for their DreamHack trips entirely out-of-pocket. Our faith paid off. Today, we feel thankful and proud to have been selected as one of the charter teams of H1 Pro League.”
