Harnessing the strength of the global games community, YANA was designed to encourage gamers around the world to unite through their favourite games to show that isolation doesn’t have to be isolating while also promoting social distancing.
Gamers are encouraged to create their own content and share their activity on socials using official tags #YANA and #PlayApartTogether to send the message You Are Not Alone to gamers everywhere.
The event will also support a range of charities providing relief for those affected by COVID-19 including the Children’s Society which provides vital support for children in crisis. Just Giving will act as the official donation platform and you will be able to select the charity of your choice. With so many people affected, the homeless, elderly, children and those on the frontline such as healthcare workers, YANA wants to ensure you choose who to donate to.
