Indie developer Toxic Games are proud to announce that the latest build of Q.U.B.E. 2, the sequel to its multi platform first-person puzzle game, will be shown at EGX at the NEC in Birmingham, from September 21st to 24th. Q.U.B.E. 2 is scheduled to launch in early 2018 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
In Q.U.B.E. 2 players step into the shoes of Amelia Cross, a British archaeologist who has awoken on a strange alien planet. With the help of fellow survivor, Emma, players must face the challenging puzzles of the Q.U.B.E., the sentient monolithic structure at the heart of the game. The Q.U.B.E. harnesses alien technology, able to create an endless array of puzzles in a shifting environment. Amelia will need to face this alien structure and beat its grueling challenges in order to try and find a way back home. Q.U.B.E. 2 is a combination of thought-provoking storytelling, haunting sound design, music from BAFTA nominated composer David Housden, fully voiced characters and beautiful Unreal Engine 4 powered graphics. Having won the Outstanding Gameplay and Game of the Year Awards from Reboot Develop 2016, Q.U.B.E. 2 is a gorgeous, thoughtful puzzle game rooted in a human story.
