How to watch LPL, LCK, EU LCS, and NA LCS

We’re gearing up for another exciting season of esports. It’s time to equip your favorite team icon and cheer on some epic gameplay as we head into the first split of 2018. Let’s review when LPL, LCK, EU LCS and NA LCS return, where to watch with their English broadcasts, and how to keep up with all the action:

LPL – Jan 15

The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) features 14 teams split into two divisions of 7 teams each in China. Over the course of the season, each team will face every other team inside their division twice, and every team outside their division once. All regular season matches are Best of 3. Winning a Best of 3 series counts as one win, or one point.

2018 LPL Spring will bring 6 days of LPL action for the fans on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  The LPL English broadcast will broadcast 4 days a week: Monday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

LPL begins on Monday, January 15 at 1:00 AM PT.  

LCK – Jan 16

League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) features ten teams facing every other team twice over the course of the split. All matches are played in a Best of 3 format. At the end of the LCK season, the bottom two teams drop into a promotion/relegation tournament, while the top five teams advance to a playoff series.

EU LCS – Jan 19

The European League of Legends Championship Series (EU LCS) is comprised of 10 teams facing every other team twice over the course of the season, for a total of 18 matches each. Matches are played in a Best of 1 format, with each team playing once per day. The competition stretches across two splits, Spring and Summer.

Unable to catch the start of the EU LCS? Make sure to stick around for the Post Game Lobby which will follow the last game of the day. Tune in as Sjokz and the on-air team cover the day’s action, chat with players and coaches and bring you up-to-date on the state of the EU LCS.

EU LCS is moving to Fridays at 9:00 AM PT and Saturdays at 8:00 AM PT, with Picks and Bans starting at 15 mins past the hour.

NA LCS – Jan 20

The North America League of Legends Championship Series (NA LCS) is comprised of 10 teams facing every other team twice over the course of the regular season, for a total of 18 matches each. Matches are played in a Best of 1 format, with each team playing once each on  Saturday and Sunday. The competition stretches across two splits, Spring and Summer.

NA LCS will be broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays. Pre-show coverage begins at 1:30 PM PT and Picks and Bans for the first game at 2:00 PM PT.

New Programming

NA LCS is introducing new weekend shows to accompany the games, including:

  • NA LCS Countdown: Before the games begin on Saturday and Sunday, kick off your NA LCS day right with Dash, MarkZ and Jatt at 1:30 PM PT. The team will bring you a half hour countdown to get you ready before Game 1 begins at 2:00 PM PT. NA LCS Countdown will deliver big news from around the League, track new game trends, and offer insight into the upcoming matches. We’ve also got guest spots available for casters, fan favorite personalities, teams, and pros to drop in to say hello.
  • NA LCS Lounge: For the final game of the day on Saturdays, check out the NA LCS Lounge on RiotGames2 for an alt stream with players sitting in for a guest cast, lane focused streams, fog of war streams, and fan AMA streams. A rotation of hosts including Phreak, Ovilee, Azael, and Pastrytime will lead a casual and fun stream with insights for your favorite players. Don’t miss our Week 1 stream when Phreak is joined by Meteos and Aphromoo to watch their former teams C9 and CLG square off.
  • NA LCS Tonight: Before we sign off each weekend, be sure to stick around for our weekend recap show, NA LCS Tonight. Phreak will be joined by a rotating group featuring Zirene, Kobe, and Azael to highlight the weekend’s biggest moments, developments, and plays.
